2sDay Mergansers

Today is 2sDay, the day to show a photo with 2 of the same thing in it.  While enjoying a walk along Whiffen Spit in Sooke,Vancouver Island in November 2011 we saw this pair of common merganser ducks.  They fit right into my 2sDay theme.

It was a lovely sunny day and the ducks were just enjoying floating around on the water and occasionally preening themselves.

They were on the inner side of the spit so the water was more calm. You can see the reflections of them in the water.
