The Christmas cactus has been putting on a wonderful show since we arrived home from our month long trip out west at the end of November. Then there were just buds. But now the buds are fully open.
Here are a few of the blooms, and you can just see lots more little pink buds appearing at the end of the stems.
I just can't resist taking photos of the blooms, first in clumps of 3 or more ...
... then in pairs ...
... and finally one all by itself.
I'm looking forward to viewing the other posts for Garden Bloggers Bloom Day from participants around the globe as I know there will be some wonderful blooms both inside and outside.
Do you have any houseplants in bloom?
Thanks for visiting. Have a great day.

:0) What a magic touch you have.
ReplyDeleteThe NEWEST one I'm giving a go at is doing (crap) and will end up tossed out like the others before them. sighhhhhhhhhh :0(
Is there a book called Cactus' For Dummies ;0)
Nothing to show in my garden inside or out! But if this warm weather keeps going, there may be some blooms afterall - it's only 9 AM and it's already 12 degrees Celsius. Where's the snow?
ReplyDeleteHAHA! I was going to post about my cactus next week. I have a white & a pink in the same pot & they're just beautiful!! xx
ReplyDeletePretty!!! I almost went inside too for pictures of violets, since the weather in our neck of the woods does not leave much in bloom. But it still is a nice time of year in or out. Great to come in by a fire after being out in the snow on those days. Right now though, we are are 53° F, not too bad. Happy GBBD!
ReplyDeleteI have a large Christmas cactus, but not a bloom in sight. I must not have it in the right spot, or doing what I should to encourage blooms. Yours are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteOh, your cactus is lovely! And so many blooms with buds still to open! Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic plant Christmas cactus is! Mine bloomed in November this year.
Merry Christmas!
