Across Canada

It is very exciting at our house.  We will soon be heading out west to meet our new grandson and visit with his family.  The trip is all organized and the packing is almost done.

We are going all the way on The Canadian.  I call it a travelling hotel with Via Rail.  We made the same trip 3 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.  This time it is a different season of the year so the scenery across Canada will be different.  What an amazing way to see our country.

Once we arrive in Vancouver we will be taking one of the BC Ferries across to Vancouver Island.

The photos I'm sharing with Mosaic Monday were taken on our last trip out west, but I'm sure I'll have oodles and oodles of new photos to share after our trip.

  17. Greetings,
I have a question about plastic canvas. Have you had trouble with it cracking at sharp bends, like in the key chain. I bought super soft, and although my bends aren't as sharp, I notice some cracking. Any insights are appreciated. Thank you.

  18. I hope you have a fabulous time. My Son lives in B.C. too and we were thinking of going by train in the spring. I think you sold me on the idea.

  19. Hi Suzanne, I have had some items crack after a few years,, even though I use the softer canvas. Sometimes an extra row of overcast stitching will help.
