2sDay Knitting

It's 2sDay and time to show 2 of something.   Today I have 2 items that I just finished knitting.
Here are the 2 items.  Please excuse the awful photo as I took it last night and the lighting was not the best for photos.

Now what on earth am I knitting?
It's a simple little pattern I discovered on the web.
Can you believe that after folding and stitching them together they turned into these 2 items.

2 cute little baby booties to share on 2sDay.   Now you can see the actual colour of the yarn it makes the top photo look even worse.  I took this photo this morning.  I would normally retake the top photo but I wasn't about to take apart my stitching.   These 2sDay booties are for a new grandchild that is due in the next few weeks.  I love the colour combination they used at the actual site and plan to knit some more.

Have a great 2sDay. I know I am, as it is back to school today and I don't have to go.  Now I feel officially retired.

  1. These booties are adorable! And you have a new grandbaby arriving? How many do you have? We are enjoying our only grandbaby and his parents so much. He's almost 1 year old and is the sweetest little bug! Time is going too fast though - only 4 more days here. :-( Have a great week. Blessings, Pamela

  2. Lynda,
I was wondering what you were up to, before seeing the second photo. Those booties are great.
Enjoy your "first" day of retirement. Consider doing something a bit special!

  3. They are adorable! I have crocheted booties, but I have not tried knitting a pair. I can see how the pattern flattens them out, and then you fold it together. I am looking forward to fall and winter when I have more time to knit and crochet.

  7. Sweet little booties. I cannot knit I have had a few attempts but I decided it's just best if I stay away from the needles. I spent the day making a birthday cake for my grandson he is five tomorrow. I have made a treasure chest.

  8. I did, indeed, feel puzzled when the page came up and saw the first picture. Hope all goes well with your up-and-coming grandchild.

  12. Best wishes to your soon to come grandchild, these booties are perfect. My only granddaughter is 9 months old now, one tooth has come through and I am in the middle of knitting a winter jacket in deep red which has a simple cable pattern, which I have not knitted before.
