Fading Beauty

The heliopsis have bloomed for a long time this summer.

They are beautiful even as they fade away.  Click the heliopsis label to see more of these beautiful blooms.

I'm joining in with Cottage Floral Thursday and Fertilizer Friday.

Take time to enjoy the garden today, even as it fades away.

  3. Hi Linda
I haven't had heliopsis in the garden for a few years because of the aphid plague it would get. I do remember how time consuming it was to deadhead! Perhaps I'll just enjoy yours.

  4. I've noticed a problem with leaves this year Judith, and yes they are high maintenance. I've been just letting some blooms fade and then trimming the down. That seems to be my new way of gardening after my knee surgery.

  5. They look so pretty. I'd never know they were high maintenance!

  6. When you have numerous clumps as I do it is the deadheading that is hard to keep up with, other than that they look after themselves.
