I've added more pots since the last posting, and everything is growing really well. The latest pots added were the ones of the lowest level and they have canna planted in them. I had almost forgot about the canna till we discovered the box full of root in the well cupboard.
I really wanted to share the tomatoes with you today. All three plants are flowering and there are small green tomatoes forming on each of the plants.

I can almost taste them.
For Mosaic Monday I've put together some of the tomato photos to share with you.
I hope your garden is growing as well as mine.

Lovely garden! It looks like a lot of exciting things are happening! I haven't plants a vegetable garden in a while but a citrus tree that I planted a few years ago is finally blooming and baring fruit I think they are Lemons!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
What do you have growing in the strawberry pot? It looks like hens and chicks but I can't be sure. I love tomatoes and I can't wait to taste mine!!
ReplyDeleteHi Adele, yes hens & chicks are growing in the strawberry pot.
ReplyDeleteWe need some heat here for things to take off, We had a little sunshine on the weekend and then rain and cool temps - bring on the sun!
ReplyDeleteWe are finally seeing the same little tomato buds I'm thankful to say. Since your first "pot" post (always thing of the other pot) I have still been on the hunt for a square wash tub as I love yours. Ours are all round!
ReplyDeleteLooking good!
ReplyDeleteWhy Linda, I didn't know you had a pot garden. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm growing tomatoes in containers this year too but only have flowers so far. I was able to find a dwarf tomato plant and the other two are Tiny Tim and yellow pear.

Oh I can almost taste those tomatoes too, yum! I hope summer has arrived in your part of the country - it comes and goes over here on the West Coast: sun and then rain and then sun and then clouds!!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a pot garden. That is how I have done tomatoes in the past. Lots of flexibility in where they go and the ability to move them around to get more sun. Yours look great! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like the makings of a great garden.
ReplyDeleteOurs is thriving also. Looking forward to the tomatoes too. We've already had radishes, lettuce,
and onions.
More to come.

I've been considering a pot garden on one side of the house. I want to go to a flea market to get some containers for not much money (I hope). Love your wash tubs!
ReplyDeleteYour plants are looking great. I love tomatoes and I am growing a cherry tomato plant. They are so sweet and tasty.
ReplyDeleteMy garden does not look as good as yours. I need more sun and warm temperatures. Happy gardening:)
ReplyDeleteOur potted tomatoes have started to produce little tomatoes too.... isn't it fun to watch it all happening! I love your pot garden, esp. those galvanized tomato tubs. This is only our second season with a pot garden but we love it! I'm glad you are enjoying yours so much. Enjoy the bounty!
ReplyDeleteHiya Linda,
ReplyDeleteI really like the look of your pot garden. A couple of questions though: What is Canna and what are hens and chicks? I'm kinda ignorant when it comes to some of the gardening lingo.
xoxo

Isn't it exciting when those little green tomatoes appear? And frustrating for the gardener when slugs appear!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying tomatoes this year. They certainly aren't as advanced as yours! Well done, Crafty!
