When-sday Memories of Honeysuckle

When-sday is a day to reminisce to way back when.

Look at this slideshow of all the wonderful blooms.
When was this?  It was happening a year ago today.  The honeysuckle were in bloom.

 But not so this year.
It has been a slow start to spring this year and the flowering shrubs are a bit behind.

Here is a photo of one of the honeysuckle bushes taken this morning.  The leaves have just opened out and there isn't any sign of the blooms yet.
We have the blooms and the scent from the blooms to come.

Thanks for visiting. Have a great day.

  1. Hi Linda: Just came in from the garden. It is hot out there today and there is so much grass in all the beds. My back is aching. Yes, everything is behind this year. I am reading your post on google reader. V

  2. Great slide show! Our bushes are slow to flower this year too, but we have warmer temperatures coming up, so that should help things along. Enjoy your day.

  3. I can’t believe another week has gone by with another delightful tea party. Great teapot and you will no doubt enjoy the variety of tea your daughter gave you.
Here in southern Ontario our blooms have been slow to pop too.
You will enjoy the scent of the honersuckle flower when it blooms. One of my favs.
It would not be so enjoyable without you and your creative touch. I always look forward to seeing you as often as you can pop in.

    Blessings,
    Pam
