The morning started out quite foggy and even when it lifted it was still a dull morning.

The trees are reflected perfectly in the calm water.

This has to be one of my favourite shots. The tree created the perfect reflection.
I'm joining in with Weekend Reflections and Shadow Shot Sunday.
Thanks for visiting. Have a great weekend.

Great Photos!
ReplyDeleteYes, that last picture is just perfect. Very nice. Mickie :)
ReplyDeleteWhat terrific captures! Fantastic shadows/reflections on the water and I always love the blackened, bare trees, such dramatic touch! Hope your weekend is going well, Linda! Enjoy!

The last photo would make a great watercolour painting. Very atmospheric.
ReplyDeletePretty shadows!
ReplyDeleteWill you visit my entry, pretty please?
ALL the reflections draw me in!
ReplyDeleteWELCOME THE SHADOWS
Welcome the shadows surrounding your life,
Treat them as lover or husband or wife;
Welcome them in as you would one who’s dear;
Hug them, embrace them without any fear;
Honor, respect them, and give them their due,
For shadow and light are both parts of you.

Serene. Really a wonderful photo. Cheers, Jenni
ReplyDeleteThe last photo is my favorite too. If you would turn it 45° against the clock you have a new magical tree.

ReplyDeleteDear Linda, You are a very talented photographer. I love that last picture! I believe this is my first visit to your site... I like it very much, especially the friendship tea article! P x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shadow shots!
ReplyDeleteMy shadow post, have a good night!
Very nice! I especially like the bottom one, it's a beauty!
ReplyDeleteThat last one is magic! I enjoy fogging mornings :)
ReplyDeleteI like these reflection photos. I've lived near water, so I know what magic different kinds of weather can bring to the edge. I can feel the calmness in myself that the water shares with us in these. Love them all.
ReplyDeletePeace
Just like a magical storybook!! The water is without a ripple...like a mirror!

It's always a delight to have you visit with me when you get a chance...Hope your Sunday treats you well.
Hi Linda
ReplyDeleteI'm taking a bit of time this morning to visit a few friends.
Your reflection photos are amazing and I like your favourite one too. Keep it in mind for a photo competition sometime, it would be a winner for sure.
I've been in the garden a couple of times so far just cleaning debris and I cut back the butterfly bushes.
Hope you have a great week.

Lovely shots. The sky and light looks pretty much the same as the sky and light here in East Gwillimbury today. :))
ReplyDeleteReflections are always a fav for me. The last one is my favorite as well. :)
ReplyDeleteYour photos are really nice. I like water reflection images and they are not always easy to get either. Fine job.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, and yes, so calm. Just gorgeous. Your "dull" day made great photos!
ReplyDeleteI just love the last one : there so much melancolia in that tree down on the water...
ReplyDeleteI love these, the last one especially.
