Splish Splash I was Taking a Bath

Yipee ... the robins are back.

I even managed to capture the robin's shadow.  Perhaps it was co-operating because he knew he would be featured in the Shadow Shot Sunday post for this week.
After hopping around the garden for a little while the robin headed over to the big puddle and decided to take a bath.

Wiggle that tail a little bit.

Splash the water everywhere.

Make some more waves and splash some more water around.

Don't I look pretty after my bath?

I'm joining in with Shadow Shot Sunday. Stop by and see some great shadow shot photos.

Thanks for visiting. Have a great day.

  1. Brrr! It looks like a frigid bath!

    SHADOW SINGER

    Of shadows an old man did sing;
    He chanted in Guelph and Beijing;
    The shade was his friend,
    He loved it no end—
    It made him feel rich as a king!

  2. Charming. Good sign of spring.

    I rigged my 'drippers' for the birdbaths this week. Everybody was singing and tweeting.

  3. Just awesome photos! That robin is a natural! I haven't seen any here yet and I am restless. First day of Spring on the calendar, but still plenty of snow that has to melt before we're seeing dirt.
    Fine shadow shots for sure.

    Peace
