I even managed to capture the robin's shadow. Perhaps it was co-operating because he knew he would be featured in the Shadow Shot Sunday post for this week.
After hopping around the garden for a little while the robin headed over to the big puddle and decided to take a bath.

Wiggle that tail a little bit.

Splash the water everywhere.

Make some more waves and splash some more water around.

Don't I look pretty after my bath?
I'm joining in with Shadow Shot Sunday. Stop by and see some great shadow shot photos.
Thanks for visiting. Have a great day.

Brrr! It looks like a frigid bath!
ReplyDeleteSHADOW SINGER
Of shadows an old man did sing;
He chanted in Guelph and Beijing;
The shade was his friend,
He loved it no end—
It made him feel rich as a king!

Charming. Good sign of spring.
ReplyDeleteI rigged my 'drippers' for the birdbaths this week. Everybody was singing and tweeting.
Just awesome photos! That robin is a natural! I haven't seen any here yet and I am restless. First day of Spring on the calendar, but still plenty of snow that has to melt before we're seeing dirt.
ReplyDeleteFine shadow shots for sure.
Peace
What terrific shadow shots! That bird is braver than I am! It does look like one COLD bath! Hope you have beautiful week!
