He or she didn't mind the cold snow and just settled down to enjoy the warmth from the sun. It just posed as the perfect lens friend. It's a long weekend for us in Ontario to celebrate Family Day. So I was lucky to have this opportunity to capture the dove through my lens as I would usually be at work during this time.
I'm linking to Mosaic Monday. I hope you have time to do a blog hop over there and see some other wonderful mosaic photos.

Precious. Doves are so beautiful and calming.
ReplyDeleteVery Sweet!
ReplyDeleteWhat great photos of a sweet dove. I'm sure she enjoyed the rest.
ReplyDeleteMourning doves are such sweet birds. I enjoy listening to them coo in the early morning.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, Great shot of the mourning dove. Did you get all the snow over the last couple of days. I will welcome spring anytime now.
ReplyDeleteThat was a great shot!
ReplyDeleteI was listening to the debate, this morning on CBC, about Family Day. We don't have a stat holiday in BC between Christmas and Easter - and it's a long stretch some years!
The doves seem to like to sit where they get the heat from the sun. Great mosaic of your backyard birds.
ReplyDeleteGood shots Linda, I do like doves and it looks like I have a pair that will be nesting on the side of my house again this year. They keep checking the old nest out from before. best wishes Julie.C
ReplyDeleteOh, what sweetie! Great shots. I love the little birds that come to visit.

Love it when the doves puff up their feathers to stay warm. Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteLinda those are great pictures of the dove .. I do feel sorry for the birds with such cold temps and now we are getting a winter storm warning .. last February there was no snow on the ground and much warmer I think !
ReplyDeleteRoll on Spring !!
