2sDay Teacups

It's 2sDay, the day when I like to show 2 of something. It's also Teatime Tuesday so I'm sharing 2 teacups today.  The theme for Teatime Tuesday this week is red or pink for Valentine's Day. Now I don't celebrate Valentine's Day and red and pink are not colours that I particularly like.  You won't find any red clothes in my closet.  Yet I love red cardinals!  But I do have 2 teacups that are red and pink.

The lovely teacup with the red was a gift from a friend.

This lovely teacup was a find at a garage sale. It has very light pink around the scalloped edge of the saucer, and on the handle and base of the cup. I probably bought it for the lovely little bunches of flowers that decorate it. The same little flowers are also on the inside of the cup.

Won't you stop by Tea Time Tuesdays and share in the tea party.
Have a lovely 2sDay.

  1. Red and pink are not colours I wear as they do not look good on me. Did you ever have your colours done? I'm a soft autumn. I digress. I really do love a pink tea cup though and I do think yours are beautiful. V

  4. I'm afraid red is my colour all the time no matter the season. Your tea cups are a perfect selection. I get excited when I see a cup and saucer at a garage sale, and husband says, "don't you have enough of those already?"
    You can never have enough.
I'll try to remember next tuesday to post a few.
