Squirrel Antics

It's 2sDay ... the day for sharing some photos I've taken with 2 of the same thing in it.  I've been sorting through the many, many photos that I take and I came across these photos taken last February.

What fun to watch 2 determined squirrels that were after the bird cake in the basket feeder.   One made it successfully to the top of the metal pole and the other was attempting it.

After getting his fill the one at the top decided to scamper away but the other one was determined to keep going.  I bet that pole is cold on his tummy.
I love capturing the antics of lens friends.

  1. Hi Linda
Yes, squirrels are cute but when you get overrun with them, they can become a nuisance. Because of the building going on here, more and more are moving into our treed area and already all the crabapples and mt. ash berries are gone.
When the robins return, they'll have nothing to eat.

  4. Squirrels are such characters and they do make a mess of the bird feeders. Fun to watch, but annoying as can be.

  5. Squirrels are fun. I feed peanuts in the shell to our many Blue Jays that come calling. A couple of weeks ago I tied two peanuts on a string and watched the antics. Our winters are long here so we invent fun.

  6. I love taking pictures of crows and squirrels, too. This is the exciting, minute by minute life we are living, isn't it? Thanks for the fun. Linda
