Here is what appears to be a teacup and saucer. But look a little closer and you will notice that it is flat at the back. That's because it isn't a teacup that you would drink out of.

It is a teacup nightlight that I have in my kitchen. This was a Mother's Day gift a couple of years ago.
And it is blue which is perfect for linking in with Blue Monday. It won't be any good for drinking tea at a tea party but it is the perfect accessory so I'm also linking with Tea Time Tuesdays.

I've seen these in the shops, now I know someone who actually has one!
ReplyDeleteSweet, I'll have to post about my tea pot one of these days but it isn't blue. It is cold here this am as well.
ReplyDeleteLinda It certainly is a Brrr morning.
ReplyDeleteNot seen one like this. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteLucy
I bet that this warms you a bit every time you look at it.
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday, Linda.
That is a unique night light like it. Happy blue Monday.
ReplyDeleteMine is here
I've never seen a teacup light before. It's so cute!

ReplyDeleteBlue Monday
I have one of those tea cup night lights in my kitchen. Besides being useful, it adds a touch of color to the area.
ReplyDeleteHello Linda
ReplyDeleteYes, we are as cold as you but at least it will be warmer tomorrow.
That's a sweet night light.

Hi Linda,
ReplyDeletewhen I saw your tea cup first, I thought it is "half a cup" for those, who want not so much tea. LOL But as a nightlight it is really pretty. Thank you for sharing it.
Greetings, Johanna
Hi Linda,
ReplyDeleteYour teacup nightlight is very pretty! I have two of them which I must share sometime. Thank you for joining me for tea today and helping me celebrate. I have entered your name twice for the Giveaway. Have a good week and stay warm!
Blessings,
Sandi
That is definitely a special cup of tea.
ReplyDeleteOoo I can't believe it's so cold, it's 27 degrees here, but the sun is much hotter than that, it's beating down very strongly today.
ReplyDeleteYour tealight is very special, I've never seen one before. I adore tea, and teapots and teacups, all the paraphernalia that goes with it.
Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteMy Blue Monday, hope you can drop by.
What a charming night light. I too have seen them in the stores. Much softer than I expected. I may purchase one now for our kitchen. Thank you for sharing. Stay warm!!
ReplyDeleteThis is very sweet! I love those - next time I see one - it's mine!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day,
Kathy
