The bone china one with the blue butterfly comes from the Butterfly Conservatory at Niagara Falls and was a gift from my daughter.

This Royal Albert cup with the blue forget me not flowers was a find at a flea market.

And this Queen Anne cup with blue flowers was a gift from a friend.

Some of my favourite herbal teas are peppermint, mango passion fruit, and cranberry.
How about you ... what is your favourite tea to drink from a china cup?
I'm also linking in with Blue Monday with my blue tea cup collection. Stop by and see some other posts that feature the colour blue.
Thanks to Judith at Lavender Cottage I found Tea Time Tuesdays and have decided to join the tea party.

Beautiful...love your china and that blog header photo is so gorgeous...Have a wonderful week!!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful tea cups...I seldom drink my tea from my tea cups unless it is Mother's Day. Silly me! I really enjoy my chamomile tea or some raspberry tea or some York breakfast tea. I like tea so it's difficult to choose.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, we both posted about teacups. I love the one with the butterflies, it would be my favorite with pepperment tea. I love any of the Roobis teas from the Tea Emporium in Toronto. I hope you have a great week.
ReplyDeleteLovely cups. I like the butterfly cup most. Have a nice week.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty indeed!

Tea most definitely taste better out of a china cup. I also have a small, but treasured, collection.
ReplyDeleteTea also tastes better if it is loose.

Linda, these are lovely! At one time I didn't see the sense of keeping a single piece of china without the accompanying pieces of the set. I've grown since then and your post today is proof just how special an individual piece is!
ReplyDeleteLinda, Each of these cups are pretty and the one from your daughter holds special memories. My favorite is the Queen Anne cup. I enjoy both herbal teas and regular teas - a current favorite is Irish Cream tea.
ReplyDeleteBeth

Really glad to have found your blog Linda. You sound like a girl after my own heart, crafting, appreciating nature and collecting china. I have loved seeing your cardinals and blue jays as we don't have those birds in the UK. I look forward to following your blog from now on.

Seeing your lovely collection of blue teacups makes me want to take a look at Teacup Tuesday. I may get my special teacups out and join in on one of these winter days.
ReplyDeleteYour Tea Cups are beautiful. We just divided my mothers collection. Between the three of us there were still at least beautiful cups and saucers between us. It's a wonderful reminder of sharing a cup with my mom. Thanks for the beautiful reminder.
