Blue China Cups

Doesn't tea taste better from a beautiful china cup?
Here are some of my favourite tea cups in shades of blue.

The bone china one with the blue butterfly comes from the Butterfly Conservatory at Niagara Falls and was a gift from my daughter.

This Royal Albert cup with the blue forget me not flowers was a find at a flea market.

And this Queen Anne cup with blue flowers was a gift from a friend.

Some of my favourite herbal teas are peppermint, mango passion fruit, and cranberry.
How about you ... what is your favourite tea to drink from a china cup?

I'm linking to Mosaic Monday. I hope you have time to do a blog hop over there and see some other wonderful mosaic photos.
I'm also linking in with Blue Monday with my blue tea cup collection.  Stop by and see some other posts that feature the colour blue.
Thanks to Judith at Lavender Cottage I found Tea Time Tuesdays and have decided to join the tea party.

  2. Wonderful tea cups...I seldom drink my tea from my tea cups unless it is Mother's Day. Silly me! I really enjoy my chamomile tea or some raspberry tea or some York breakfast tea. I like tea so it's difficult to choose.

  3. Oh wow, we both posted about teacups. I love the one with the butterflies, it would be my favorite with pepperment tea. I love any of the Roobis teas from the Tea Emporium in Toronto. I hope you have a great week.

  13. Tea most definitely taste better out of a china cup. I also have a small, but treasured, collection.

Tea also tastes better if it is loose.

  21. Linda, these are lovely! At one time I didn't see the sense of keeping a single piece of china without the accompanying pieces of the set. I've grown since then and your post today is proof just how special an individual piece is!

  37. Your Tea Cups are beautiful. We just divided my mothers collection. Between the three of us there were still at least beautiful cups and saucers between us. It's a wonderful reminder of sharing a cup with my mom. Thanks for the beautiful reminder.
