What's The Time Mr. Wolf?

Over the weekend Daylight Savings Time came to an end and supposedly we were to get an extra hour of sleep.  However no one told my internal clock and I still woke up at the same time of 6:30 but on the now Standard time it was an hour earlier at 5:30.  No sleep in for me. And now a timely mosaic of some of the time pieces I had to change.

And then I started the changing of the clocks. So what is the time Mr. Wolf?
I started changing clocks at just before 7 am, which was still 8 am in my mind.  By the time I got around to all the clocks it was a few minutes after 7 and then I decided I should take some photos of these time pieces and create a mosaic for Mosaic Monday, so of course the time in all the photos varies.  I'm sure over the next day or so I will go around and tweek the time of some of these clocks.

Why oh why can't all clocks be like computers and automatically reset themselves.   I guess if I wanted to spend big bucks I could find clocks to do that, but for now I manually go around and change the 18 clocks in the house.  Good grief ... 18!!! Are we obsessed with time?  We aren't, but it seems that so many gadgets come with clocks these days ... telephones, microwaves, ovens, televisions, vcrs, etc. etc.  And if they don't have the correct time they don't work properly.

I'm linking to Mosaic Monday today.

Are you on the right time for today?  Of course if you live in Saskatchewan you don't have to worry about doing any of this as you stay on the same time all year round.

  5. Oh, I love this post! No one told my kitties about the time change and we were up as usual. ACK! I haven't looked at any watches, just changed the bare necessities! Have a great week (sneak in a nap)!

  7. 18 clocks - wow! Have we discovered before now that we both have the same metal ivy clock? When the kitchen was redone - so was the clock and it's now purple and in the main bathroom.

  8. Its funny how we don't think about all those clocks that need changing. I woke up at my usual time too and for some reason I seemed to be hungry all day. Hope that changes. Wonderful mosaic.

  10. I would be happy to be like Saskatchewan...we lived in Fort St John BC for a few years and we didn't have to bother with daylight savings either. I woud rather have longer afternoons even though I'm an early riser. i was up at 5:30 feeding my diabetic cat.

  11. Hi Judith, interesting that we have the same clock. Mine was a gift from my son in law one Christmas. I even thought of putting it in the bathroom, but wasn't sure about all the moisture etc. from showers. Does yours work okay in there?

  12. That's a lovely mosaic. And that's a lot of clocks and stuff to change!

I also got up at my usual (early) time, so like you, no sleeping in. It takes awhile for the internal clock to catch up.

  13. Hi Linda. This time change is hard to get adjusted to. My problem was that I never got adjusted all summer and was getting up too late.I felt like a sluggard.LOL! So now I am thankfully back on schedule but I am not liking the shorter daylight in the evenings.
Girl you had a lot of clocks to change! LOL!

  14. That is a lot of clocks to reset and then you have to do it again in the Spring. Most of ours reset themselves and we have one other one that hasn't worked in months. We tend to use our cell phones and our computers to tell time around here. LOL. Thank you for stopping by my blog and saying Hello.
