In the Shadow of the Lamp

We have been having some amazing weather for the end of October with temperatures close to 20 Celsius.  The sun has been casting some wonderful shadows.  Here is one that I captured though my lens of our neighbours lamp over his garage.

This is the perfect photo for linking to Shadow Shot Sunday

Be sure and stop by and see more amazing shadow shots.

  1. Hi Linda....I'm visiting you from the great state of Texas,USA where the sun shines and casts shadows nearly everyday of the year. We have had a wonderfully mild October and mostly sunny days. Sure do like your Shadow Lamp post and the way the shadow plays over the ripples of the building.

I hope you'll visit my first post on SSS...here's my url as it's not up yet on Harriet's site...

  5. Super Shadow shot. I love the way the shadow is so much larger than the lamp. No wonder people have long thought shadows to be deceptive!

  11. Wow - what a fantastic shadow....it really changes the look of that light - looks like the shadow belongs in the French Quarter in New Orleans!

  12. That's great! The shadow sort of looks like a cool kind of flying saucer! I'm glad you're able to still enjoy some nice weather before the cold change comes along! Have a lovely week :)
