I got several shots of it through my lens before it decided to fly over towards the nest.
This is a nesting platform set up overlooking the bay. It looks like there is the starting of a nest there, but we didn't see the pair of osprey on this visit. I'll be back again in hopes of capturing both of the birds on the nest like I did last year.

Wonderful photos of the Osprey. Valerie
ReplyDeleteCool shots! I was out taking photos of osprey yesterday...only near the Trent-Severn Waterwray. :)
ReplyDeleteLinda: What a fun look at the Osprey, they work the lake I fish but I never have my good camera on the boat.
ReplyDeleteNice shots.
ReplyDeleteLove the first and last shots!
ReplyDeleteHope you can visit My Camera Critters too. Thanks.
Great shot of the Osprey, they are such great fishmen.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda
ReplyDeleteThe first shot really shows what an osprey looks like.
We had a pair nesting by the railway tracks on one of the lines but the GO train was started again. Apparently a new platform was constructed for them further away and they successfuly found it but I haven't seen it yet.
