It was such a lovely sunny day yesterday. We all enjoyed some time in the sun. Even Shadow our lovely indoor cat will come outside for a little while. I was able to capture some shots of her through my lens.
One of her favourite places is to sit on the back steps of the deck and peer underneath in hopes of glimpsing the resident chipmunk. I captured Shadow and her shadow sitting in the shadows.
Thanks for taking time to visit today. I hope you have time to say hi and leave a comment.

ReplyDeleteGreat shot.
ReplyDeleteJust popped by to wish you a Happy Easter,

What could be better than a shadow shot of Shadow? Perfect for your first time. I call one of my cats "Shadow" also, although it isn't his official name. He's always hiding in the shadows and he's gray so he blends right in. He's also afraid of everything- including his own shadow.
ReplyDeleteYour shot is a really nice photo.
Cute kitty and your shadow shot is a great composition.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute cat and a great shadow too!
ReplyDeleteWelcome Linda - from a fellow Ontarian!
ReplyDeleteOnce you get the shadow chasing bug you are hooked!
Great shadows!
Have a Happy Easter!
Hi Linda. That is a wonderful picture to start off the Shadow shots. She is really looking. ;-)I wish the stray cats around here would earn there keep and catch that mole that is trying to undermine the yard now. I could use Shadow.LOL!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a good Easter.

ReplyDeleteShadow seems very sure that there's something lurking beneath.
ReplyDeleteCute.
Hi Linda. My cats are afraid to even step foot outside. They so enjoy laying in the sun though.
