Shadows on a Sunny Sunday

Last Sunday was a lovely warm, sunny day to go for a walk down by the bay and it was the perfect day for getting Shadow Shot Sunday photos.

I was able to capture the perfect shadow of the bridge railing on both the path and the water below.

Over at the Hey Harriet blog you can join in Shadow Shot Sunday fun.

Thanks for taking time to visit today. I hope you have time to leave a comment and say hi.

  3. Linda girl that was perfect ! I love the three different perspectives .. and what a pretty place to take the shots : )
Hey .. where was that Lowes you went to ? .. I am cracking to see one .. they are dragging their feet here with even beginning the construction .. it will be right next to our huge Canadian Tire store (of which we have three here in Kingston .. go figure ? haha)
I am patiently waiting for some sun again .. enough of the rain now ? LOL

  4. Hi Pam and Angie, the waterfront trail is a wonderful place to stroll on a sunny day. It's my favourite place to capture water fowl pictures.

Joy, Lowes, is just to the north of Belleville, across from Walmart. If you take the 401 to the Hwy 62 interchange, go north to the first set of traffic lights, you will see Lowes on the left.

  5. Across the blue bridge
    friable soils are waiting—
    plant your feet, grow tall!

    Your choice of shadows:
    Shadowy tombstone
    Orphaned truck shadows

  6. Hi Linda - love these shots - you've captured the shadow of the bridge beautifully. It's too cold to go walking by the water today. Good thing you got those shots in last week.

  7. It sure is chilly today Heather. Yesterday it was a dreary, damp and dismal day, but at least the sun is making an appearance this morning.
