How Easy Was That?

I was busy cleaning out some stuff from the basement ... not throwing it away, just sorting through it looking for something else ... when I came upon the 3 ring metal part of an old binder.  Who knows why I saved it, but I did, and now I've re'find' it into a storage solution for three garden hand tools I also found hiding in the basement.

With just two nails and a hammer it was fastened to a shelf on the workbench.  Open the rings and you can hang on the tools.  Snap the rings shut and those tools won't fall off.

 How easy was that?

  2. That is an absolutely wonderful idea! I will totally have to do it. What I love best is how you can close it to keep them from falling off. Nice!!

  6. What a clever idea! Sure beats my method of leaving garden tools lying here, there and everywhere, spending half the day trying to track them down. :))

  7. Now that is a great idea, I would just have to remember to put the tools back. I have a habit of leaving them stuck in the garden to mark where I finished for the day and never find it again.
