That is a beautiful flower!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful red trillium. I would also wait until later to transplant back into the garden. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a red trillium. Thanks for showing it to us. It's beautiful!

I have never seen a red Trillium, so pretty.

Cool - I've never seen a red trillium before!
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you moving and saving your plants. We have a new sewer project going through our town. I am in the same boat. Moving plants to try to save the ones I can't live without.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun plant. It is so brilliant. I really like it.
Oh, how pretty. I never saw a red one before. Love it.
ReplyDeleteI'm super envious! I've wanted Trilliums for a while now. The tubers I bought last year didn't ever sprout.
ReplyDeleteTrilliums are so beautiful. I wish I could grow them in my garden but I don't think they like the clay we have here / gittan
ReplyDeleteI am envious Linda. I bought what I thought was a red trillium (according to the tag) but it turns out it is T. erectum which doesn't get pretty flowers and although it's multiplied, is disappointing.
ReplyDeleteOf course, how many times has that happened when you thought you bought one thing and it was a different colour or even plant.
Judith,
We had our front window replaced a few years ago and I thought for sure I would lose the trilliums as they were under it with all the tramping on them by the workers. But, they have survived. Yours are looking terrific despite being moved. Valerie
ReplyDeleteYour red trillium is a real beauty!
ReplyDeleteYour trillium is lovely!, good luck with moving your plants:)Thanks for sharing!
