It's happening, it really is! The garden is waking up.
The tulips are poking through the ground.
The honeysuckle vine is sending out new shoots.
There are some shoots appearing on the climbing rose.
The orange daylilies are at least a few centimeters above ground.
The hardy Egyptian Walking Onions are showing lots of green growth.
And the pussywillows are in bud.
Thanks for taking time to visit today. I hope you have time to say hi and leave a comment.

ReplyDeleteDo you eat the Onions? I can't remember, I always was annoyed with them at the nursery, because they wouldn't stay put, they were always walking away from their table. LOL.
Jen
Such a fun time of year as plants awaken and show little by little their foliage and bloom. I think I like spending time in the garden at this time of year the best. A nature scavenger hunt for new growth!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing your new idea for a pin cushion Julie.
ReplyDeleteJen, I don't usually eat the onions, but they certainly are edible,
I love your idea of a Nature scavenger hunt Janet. With the days getting warmer I'll be out hunting for sure.
Nice new look to the blog. We're getting good weather, too, and I see a bit of new growth poking through here and there. Greenhouse is really greening.
