The return of our Canada geese is one of my favourite things this time of year. I love the way they honk so loudly, letting us know they're back. If you translated what they were saying, it would be: "We're home! We're home!"
ReplyDeleteI like the new look of your blog. Every little sound sight and smell of spring is so welcome right now. Valerie
ReplyDeleteLOL Gotta love the honking geese. They haven't arrived here yet. Early in the mornings when I let the dogs out I hear woodpeckers all over the place. And the robins have finally arrived, busy tossing around leaves looking for tasty tidbits.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda
ReplyDeleteI see you too did a blog remake - like your new look!
I've seen a few flocks of geese overhead here too and male birds starting to establish their territory.
Finally, spring in a few days!
The sounds of spring and the warm weather are so wonderful after the winter blahs. Have seen red-wing blackbirds and robins in the last couple of days. Hope the cold forecast for the weekend does not arrive. Like the new layout for the blog.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos. How much fun those geese must have traveling in such perfect weather.
ReplyDeleteThat has to be one of the most thrilling sights and sounds of the season! Yay!
