These are all taken as I quickly popped outside the kitchen door and stood on the deck facing west.
I'm hoping it won't be much longer till I'm able to sit on the deck and enjoy the full sunset. Until then, it is worth the few moments of being cold to appreciate Nature.

Thanks for taking time to visit today. I hope you have time to say hi and leave a comment.

Linda that was wonderful ! I wish I had a view for the sunsets like that : )
ReplyDeleteI did notice the sun was trying to peek out there during that time and thought you might be having some good luck getting pictures from it.
This morning is very overcast so no sunrise pictures for me , darn it !

purple sunsets are always a treat!
ReplyDeleteToday there was a "Post Comment" cue--there hasn't been for a while. Great! Nice sky pictures!. I never thought of watching the sky, except when a spectacular one caught my eye. Next thing I know you'll have taught me to "wake up and smell the coffee" ☺☺☺
ReplyDeleteI think I got the wrong expression in the last comment. I think it should have been something about stopping and smelling the roses.
ReplyDeleteAs I sit in my sun room and watch the falling snow, I ? that spring will be here soon.I love gardening too and can hardly wait
ReplyDeleteNice pictures,,

Beautiful sunset!
ReplyDeleteSitting on the deck enjoying the sun with a lovely view sounds like a very good idea to me. I too like to watch sunsets. Julie.C
ReplyDeleteA lavender sky - how beautiful! We are certainly getting more light these days and I am so pleased.
ReplyDeleteLinda, that was a lovely sunset, thanks so much for sharing it. I'm something of a sunset freak myself, but the other day I managed to catch a beautiful striped sunrise. You can see it on my blog. Today I caught a pretty snowy sunset. Froze my fingers off taking pictures of it, but it was worth it! I'm sure it will show up on my blog eventually!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos... you really do have a nice view from your deck. You are very fortunate for sure in all seasons but the warmer weather will be a much nicer time to sit out at look at this. Hopefully not too much longer.
ReplyDeletegreat photos...I like your blog...
ReplyDeleteI love seeing skies and sunsets.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of the plants unfurling too.
