...a seed waiting to sprout,
...a bulb opening to the light,
...a bud straining to unfurl.
And the anticipation nurtures our dream.

Linda, It's one of those times when I actually find myself wishing we had snow. Not a lot! Just enough to feel like it really is winter (and to protect my plants from windchill).
ReplyDeleteLinda .. I made it to Home Sense yesterday but nothing of interest of garden art at all .. disappointing BUT .. I know it is too early yet ? ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove the poem .. I check my hellebore .. the ones I could see without snow on them ! LOL

Walked to the bottom of my garden today for the first time since mid-December. There was some unfurling but I noticed the frost and snow damage more!
ReplyDeleteHi Linda
ReplyDeleteNice winter poem.
It's been a funny winter, hasn't it? I knew something was up when the mountain ash didn't produce one berry!
I'm glad my plants have their nice blanket of snow to keep them warm. Was it you that talked about the nifty knitter last year? I know someone did, I finally bought one and I LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteHI Cinj, yes I got a Knifty Knitter just before Christmas, haven't used it yet as I was busy finishing other projects. I just joined a couple of Yahoo groups to learn some techniques etc. What have you been making?
ReplyDeleteSo true ... all those miracles waiting to unfurl do "nurture our dreams.";>)
