Inuky and the Dove

My digital camera is my constant companion while I'm working in the garden, walking by the water, or just out and about on my travels. Over the winter months it is always set up by the kitchen door ready to snap some photos of the birds.  You never know when that "Kodak Moment" will happen.

Inuky is in full view of the kitchen window.  Some days he has white fluffy snow on him and other days he is a perching spot for birds.  Right now he is bare as we are still in the midst of a January thaw.

On a snowy day the dove has found a friendly place to sit and enjoy some afternoon sunshine.

I guess I'll have to clean Inuky's head and shoulders as we all know how messy doves can be.

Check out other bloggers that carry cameras all the time and snap photos of Camera Critters.

  1. We have lots of doves at our feeder everyday. Last week we had a new one the ring neck, kind of a beigey-pink and so pretty. We love to watch the birds from our sun room. We really haven't had much sun lately, mostly fog and rain here in the Midwest..Have a great weekend,

  2. How sweet! The dove is so fluffed up and the stone head of Inuky must be warm. ;>)

  6. Hello Linda
I imagine the stone head retains some warmth from the sun that the dove enjoys.
We've had sun the last few days, and not much snow either.

  9. That is quite a lovely "hat" Linda. I do think he may need to be hosed down a bit though...

How did your statues get their names anyway? Maybe you posted about it and I just never read it? I haven't been blog hopping much lately...
