Marsh Marigolds
Marsh marigolds, cowslips or caltha palustris are lovely yellow blooming plants that grow in shallow water near marshy or swampy areas. A few years ago we ventured into the swampy, mucky area close to our house to dig a clump of these lovely flowers. The plants grow 45 to 60 cm. high and the flowers are about 4 cm. across.

I really like Marsh Marigolds too, but like all the other bog plants, I have to admire them from afar.
How cool! Would these make good pond plants?
Blessings

Marsh marigolds bloom at this time of the year and once they are finished the plant dies away.
A beautiful little plant and what a bright spot of colour!
I just love yellow in a flower bed. A few years back, I wanted everything pastel. Now I want a riot of color to greet me when I come home.
