It's Craf-tea time!

You know I'm a very craf-tea person and as well as drinking herbal and organic tea I love to create garden whimsy out of tea related items for the garden.
Over the years I've had a few teapots and teacups and when they cracked or got chipped I hated to throw them away. So I came up with ways to use them in a whimsical way in the garden.
There are my tea cup feeders, and of course my teapot totem.

And don't forget to have a look at my mini teaset that I posted for the Challenge of Pink.
I've even been known to buy tea in those little wooden boxes, not really for the tea, but for the box so that I can turn it into a small planter.
I'll soon be putting all my tea thyme whimsy out into the garden once again.
My Serenity Garden is having a tea time give away. There is a chance to win a cookbook, Totally Teatime by doing a post about tea. I'm hoping this post will qualify for an entry. Who knows, perhaps I'll be lucky and win, or perhaps I'll have just had the fun of participating. But while I'm waiting ... I'll just make a cup of tea and relax.

How whimsical and fun! I have a few cracked china pieces myself - you've given me some ideas. :) Very craft-tea of you!
Oh Crafty, how delightful! A teapot totem! And the tea cup feeder offers the birds a drink as well as food. I like how you give how-to-do's with them regarding glue and dowel in ground. Thank you.
Thanks for the for the comments on my blog. I've seen the tea cup bird feeder before somewhere. So cute!
Charming! I am charmed. I have always admired your teacup bird feeders and hope to some day make one for my own garden birdies to enjoy!
Thanks for joining in the fun

I collect tea pots so this is a fun and wonderful display.
I like the teacup feeder. Have you ever thought of planting a small trailing plant or succulent in the cup? (a plant above a plant)
Hi nancy, if you make one be sure to post a picture of it.
Karen - thanks for visiting. How is the knitting coming along? Have you got a pattern for a teacup?
Hi nestingstyle, thanks for visiting.
Hi Becky, good luck making a tea cup feeder.
Hi the gardeness, do you use your teapots? I have quite a collection inside and try to use a different one each weekend.
Hi afriend, I will give your suggestion a try. I think it will look lovely.
Love that teapot totem craf-tea and like you I'm very much into herbal tea. Thanks for a fun post!
I love your teapot totem but I can imagine what my husband would say! I don't think I will copy this idea but...

Very fun, Craf-tea. At Kingsbrae Gardens in NB, someone brought them a whole pile of ceramic or pottery teapots a couple of years back--we're talking dozens. (I think from a failed shop or equally unsurprising trick of a tourist trap town). The gardeners plant them out and arrange them in a dead tree each year, in their whimsical children's garden. I totally love this and keep saying I must go to yard sales or flea markets and find a few teapots..but haven't done so yet. Now you've re-inspired me to try something like this.
It would be fun to see the teapot tree Jodi and I'm sure it adds a lot of whimsy to the children's garden.
Now that is a fun bird feeder.
Very craft tea whimsy in your garden. Love it!
Cute ideas! I'll be stealing them, thank you!
